[18.Dec.2011] (Android 4.0.2) (AOSP ICS ROM for HD2) NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich Beta7
NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich is a HD2 ROM based on Nexus One's AOSP ICS ROM which is compiled from the source code.
Include tytung's 18.104.22.168 ICS kernel beta 6.
Include tytung's ICS ramdisk (initrd.gz).
Include the required proprietary binaries files and the HD2-specific files (they are not in AOSP ICS) from my AOSP GB ROM (i.e. NexusHD2-Gingerbread).
Please give credits to texasice (for N1 Android 4.0.1 ROM), ankuch (for EGL fix v6.1 and software video codec), rapmv78 (for newer EGL fix) and me (for Android 4.0.2 ROM, the kernel and other fixes) respectively if you reuse any of our works. Thanks.
Cache partition (/dev/block/mtdblock4) is only used by CWM.
Cache partition size is not important because I use data partition (/dev/block/mtdblock5 is mounted as /data/cache) as cache space (/cache) when running Android.
If your HD2 has bad NAND blocks, you may need larger partitions.
Full Wipe. (Only wipe Dalvik Cache while upgrading and wanting to retain the data.)
Flash the ROM.
MAGLDR: Flash NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta7.zip, then reboot.
cLK : Flash NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta7.zip and NexusHD2-Kernel_22.214.171.124_tytung_ICS_Beta6-cLK-update.zip, then reboot.
The optional downloads: Flash them right after flashing a ROM. I have mobile service issue (need to manually choose the service provider on each boot) when using version 4.0.2 of framework-res.apk, so use v4.0.1 instead.
